'I'm so proud of my fuzzy daughters,' the singer writes along with a picture of Wade Wilson rocking a shirt with her cats picture on it.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift has celebrated her cats' cameos in the new Deadpool 2 movie by 'interviewing' her furry friends about their brief appearances.

The Shake It Off hitmaker is good friends with leading man Ryan Reynolds and his wife, actress Blake Lively, and fans noticed one part of the film featured a little shout out to Taylor and her pets, as the cats' images are printed on a T-shirt worn by Ryan as his anti-hero character Deadpool.

Taylor took to Instagram on Tuesday, May 22, to share a screen shot of the moment in question, in which Deadpool wears a top bearing the words: "Olivia & Meredith Best Friends Purrrrr-Ever (sic)".

"I'm so proud of my fuzzy daughters," she captioned the picture as she tagged Ryan in the image. "Deadpool 2!!! Thanks @vancityreynolds".

The singer went on to post video footage of herself breaking the good news to her grey tabby Meredith.

"Meredith, I wanted to tell you something...," she began. "Deadpool 2 - they put you and your sister on a shirt in the movie."

Appearing to respond to the news of her big screen debut positively, Meredith purred loudly, as Taylor told fans, "Can you hear her purring? She's really happy."

"The purring is really next level MEREDITH LOVES A CAMEO (sic)," she added in the caption.

However, the same couldn't be said about Olivia, who sat quietly on the floor as the star asked, "How do you feel about the shirt? The world is dying to know."

"No comment?" she continued, as the pet silently walked away.

"She's very private," Taylor wrote on the post.

The sweet cat cameo comes months after she recruited Ryan and Blake's eldest daughter, James, to feature on her song Gorgeous, from her 2017 album Reputation.

The three-year-old's voice can be heard repeatedly uttering the track's title at the start of the tune, and earlier this month, Ryan joked the tot had become a real diva at home because of her music debut.

"The little intro there, that was a voice memo (of James) that ended up on a song. It's pretty amazing," he remarked on breakfast show Good Morning America. "My daughter's had a really, really terrible ego problem after that song. She's insufferable!"

However, in all seriousness, Ryan doubted his kid even understands how big of a deal it is to have a cameo on the pop superstar's music: "I don't know if she knows she's in a Taylor Swift song!," he laughed.
