The 'Havana' singer and her former groupmate hug it out when they meet backstage at the Sunday show, marking their first reunion since Camila left Fifth Harmony in 2016.

AceShowbiz - Camila Cabello and Normani Kordei had a sweet reunion at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards. Both stars attended the annual awards show on Sunday, May 20 and they inevitably ran into each other at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas where the event took place.

But what surprised fans is that the former Fifth Harmony groupmates looked very friendly when they greeted each other. The "Havana" hitmaker and the "Love Lies" songstress looked excited to see one another, perhaps for the first time since Camila abruptly left the group in December 2016.

In some pictures which are shared on Syco Entertainment's Twitter account, Camila and Normani posed together outside of the MGM Grand Garden. The two singers, who are both 21, even shared a sweet hug in one of the photos.

Many were surprised, but happy to see the two's interaction after a long time. "Omg im crying," one commented on the pictures. Another said, "i needed this."

Some others were confused since previous reports suggested that the remaining members of Fifth Harmony were all upset when Camila left the group. "but im confused , u made us believe that they had bad blood and now this? im happy don't get me wrong but what is going on for real," one asked.

Some people speculated that the feud rumor was fake and deliberately created to promote the stars. "It served to them as a sickening and twisted version of promo.. regardless of who it affected and who suffered from it most, that's what they wanted..," one commented.

Another added, "Syco doing anything for likes I see. Ya'll should have been letting them interact shame on ya'll. At least my girls are killing it and are happy these 2 dorks I stan so much! I will fight for them!"

Fifth Harmony recently announced an indefinite hiatus, with Normani, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui and Ally Brooke pursuing their solo careers. The foursome played their final show at the Hard Rock Live at the Event Center in Hollywood, Florida earlier this month. They also bid farewell to fans by releasing "Don't Say You Love Me" music video.
