The 'Fireworks' singer reportedly 'would love to perform with each other and really go all in on working together since they are both such powerful women in the industry.'

AceShowbiz - Now that Katy Perry and Taylor Swift have buried the hatchet, the former seems to be wanting to do a stage collaboration with the latter. According to a new report, the "Roar" songstress would love to have Taylor on "American Idol", on which she serves as one of the judges.

"Katy was a little taken back when Taylor made the world aware that the feud was over, but is very happy that it seems to be actually 100% over," a source close to the "Swish Swish" singer says to HollywoodLife.com.

The source continues, "Katy would love Taylor to come on 'Idol', she would love to perform with each other and really go all in on working together since they are both such powerful women in the industry. She had mixed emotions at first, but realized how important their friendship can be because what they can do as a team instead of enemies."

"If Taylor wanted to come this season for the finale since she has the night off she would be invited, and if she wanted to do it next year that would be fine as well. It is an open door policy," the insider adds. Should Taylor be down for the offer, the stage collaboration is most likely to happen next since the "Blank Space" singer is in between playing dates at Pasadena's Rose Bowl and Santa Clara's Levi's Stadium when the show's two-night season finale takes place on May 20.

The two stars appeared to end their long-running beef after Katy sent Taylor an actual olive branch ahead of her "Reputation Stadium Tour" opening show in Arizona on Tuesday, May 8, making it clear she wanted to be friends with her rival after they reportedly fell out when Katy nabbed some of Swift's dancers for a string of live dates. The "Look What You Made Me Do" hitmaker posted video of herself on Instagram showing off the gift from Katy on Tuesday, and stated, "So I just got to my dressing room and found this actual olive branch. This means so much to me."
