AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez is back with a new single. Titled "Back to You", the track was released on Thursday, May 10 and serves as the soundtrack to season two of "13 Reasons Why". It was first teased through a leaked Spotify advertisement.

The song is an acoustic guitar-laden, mid-tempo ballad which finds the songstress emphasizing her desire to rekindle an old relationship. "I wanna hold you when I'm not supposed to/ When I'm lying close to someone else," she sings over the acoustic guitar. "You're stuck in my head and I can't get you out of it/ If I could do it all again/ I know I'd go back to you."

Accompanying the release of the track was a lyrics video as well as a vertical music video which was exclusively released on Spotify. While the lyrics video features clips from the Netflix show, the vertical video features behind-the-scenes footage of the forthcoming official music video for the track.

In the vertical clip, the former Disney darling looks chic while sporting new bangs, a white mini skirt and groovy orange top. There's also a scene of her riding a vintage car alongside a handsome beau, which many fans dub a Justin Bieber look-a-like.

Speaking to Zane Lowe of Beats 1, Selena called the song "a special project that I wanted to give to season two." The "Wolves" singer said, "With this song, it's a very special record. I want it to be a beautiful message in a really complicated way, but really fun."

The track will be included on "13 Reasons Why" season two soundtrack album. Besides Selena, the album features songs from Logic, OneRepublic, Billie Eilish, Khalid, Lord Huron, Phoebe Bridges and more.

Starring Dyan Minnette and Katherine Langford among others, season two of "13 Reasons Why" will premiere on May 18 on Netflix.
