During the show, the Australian singer also invites James Corden and Benedict Cumberbatch to try out line dancing.

AceShowbiz - [Kylie Minogue] showed off her line dancing skills during a late-night TV interview on Monday night, April 30. She does some line dancing in the video for single "Dancing", and during an appearance on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" on Monday, she took the opportunity to perform a basic step.

Then she invited host James Corden and fellow guest Benedict Cumberbatch to try out the dance style, instructing them that the first move was to "put your thumbs in your belt." However, James and Benedict failed to keep up with Kylie's fancy footwork, with the "Doctor Strange" actor eventually turning his back to the audience and playfully bopping along to the beat.

During the interview, the "Fever" hitmaker shared that she had been struggling for inspiration when first starting work on her new music but was very excited following a visit to the Country Music Capital.

"We went to Nashville for two weeks, and everything made sense - this kind of country influence," the 49-year-old shared, before divulging that her new tunes were also influenced by a memorable meeting with music icon Dolly Parton.

She recalled, "I met her before her show at the Hollywood Bowl at the end of 2016, and it was a last-minute thing, I had to call in a few favours. And I met her. I went to pieces - I don't know what I said. I think my hands ended up around her waist. What a presence, what a light."

The Australian singer recently released her fourteenth studio album, titled "Golden", with a large number of the songs recorded in Nashville, Tennessee and many tracks featuring country and dance music influences.
