During the interview, Kim tells host Ellen DeGeneres that she wasn't aware that her husband reactivated his account before people start retweeting the rapper's tweets.

AceShowbiz - Little did we know, Kim Kardashian was as surprised as the rest of us about her rapper husband Kanye West returning to Twitter. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star spills the tea on it in a new sneak peek of her appearance in the upcoming Monday, April 30 episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show".

During the interview, Kim tells host Ellen DeGeneres that she wasn't aware that her husband reactivated his account. "I didn't even know he got his Twitter again until I started to seeing tweets coming from other people. And I was like, 'Wait, is this real?' " she says.

The cosmetics mogul continues, "At night, he came in and was like, 'Did you see my tweets?' And I was like, 'Yes, I did see your tweets.' And I followed him back."

Kim goes on saying that she interpreted the "Gold Digger" rapper's "get rid of everything" tweet as part of their family rule not to have phones out around their kids, adding, "I think he was talking about cleansing." The 37-year-old star explains, "[I thought] he was talking about how we should not have our phone first thing in the morning. And in the house, when we're with the kids, let's not have our phone. It's our rule that we try to live by."

The mother of three previously defended Kanye's social media rants on "mental health issues," insisting that her husband is just a "free thinker." She wrote on her own account, "Let me just say this... your commentary on Kanye being erratic & his tweets being disturbing is actually scary." She added, "So quick to label him as having mental health issues for just being himself when he has always been expressive is not fair."

Kanye's tweet storms aside, Kim is currently gearing up for her new fragrance. The KKW Beauty founder has been sharing a slew of raunchy snaps on her social media account to promote the parfume which she says having "a really sexy fragrance."

"It reminds me of summer. It just evokes sexiness to me," she continued saying of the new fragrance. When asked about the saucy snaps she's been sharing which spark backlash, Kim said, "Yes, it is definitely revealing, but I've been revealing. I don't think that's anything new. I don't get why people are so shocked when I do a revealing shoot. I do so many of them."

The new fragrance will be launched on April 30.
