AceShowbiz - "Jackass" daredevil Bam Margera will not serve jail time in his DUI case. The TV stuntman was charged with counts of driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 per cent in February following his arrest in California on January 7, after traffic police officials spotted him using his cellphone while driving and pulled him over. He failed a field sobriety test and was subsequently detained.
He faced up to six months behind bars if he was convicted, but according to TMZ he has received three years probation. He also has to attend an alcohol and "live in" program, Alcohol Anonymous meetings and pay fines.
Margera checked himself into an alcohol abuse treatment centre in California following the drama, but he has since left.
