AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian are closing their DASH clothing stores after almost 12 years. The reality stars will be pulling the plug on the boutiques, which sell items from their fashion lines, in both Los Angeles and Miami, Florida.

In a statement on her app, Kim explained the sisters' busy schedules and conflicting business ventures were at the root of the decision. "We've loved running DASH, but in the last few years we've all grown so much individually," she said. "We've been busy running our own brands, as well as being moms and balancing work with our families. We know in our hearts that it's time to move on."

She continued, "We have to give a special thanks to the DASH employees and all of the incredible fans and customers who have supported us throughout the years!"

The L.A. store appeared regularly on family series "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and featured heavily on the spin-off "Dash Dolls", which was cancelled after just one season.

The Kardashians have had little luck with the Dash brand.

It was the site of a bizarre crime last September when a woman stormed in to the boutique with a gun and threatened the Kardashians, alleging they had ties to the Cuban government. Hours later she returned and smashed the door with a machete. She was later arrested.

That wasn't the first crime to take place at the store. Months earlier, an unidentified woman broke in and made off with $1,600 worth of merchandise. In 2016, they closed the doors to the New York location, blaming the high cost of rent.
