AceShowbiz - Easter weekend is a perfect time to gather with family. And Jennifer Garner makes sure that her kids, 12-year-old Violet, 9-year-old Seraphina and 6-year-old Samuel, had their quality time with their father Ben Affleck for the holiday. With that being said, the "Alias" alum and the kids flew to Hawaii to join Ben.
"Jen and the kids flew out to Hawaii for Spring Break to visit Ben," an eyewitness told E! News, adding that Ben, Jennifer and the kids were spotted walking in the city on Friday, March 30.
"Ben had Good Friday off from filming and spent the day with the kids. They went and saw a movie and then had shave ice and milkshakes after," the source continued. "The kids were happy to see Ben and were holding his hand and hugging him. Jen seemed happy for the kids and stepped back to let Ben have his time with them."
Another source said, "Ben and Jen are friendly to one another and amicable in front of their kids." Jennifer was said to be giving Ben, who is currently filming his new movie "Triple Frontier" in the island, "alone time" with the kids.
A source revealed that while the three kids were spending time with Ben, the 45-year-old actress would use the time to enjoy herself with her friend Simone De La Rue. "On Saturday morning, Jen left the kids with Ben and went hiking at Koko Head Trail with her trainer. The hike took Jen over an hour, but she was in great shape and walked very quickly up the stairs to the top. She admired the great views before heading back down. Ben and the kids relaxed at home while Jen was gone," added the source.
The "Love, Simon" star took to her Instagam account to share the moment. "A perfect morning hike with my buddy @bodybysimone. #Aloha and #mahalo!" she captioned a pic of herself flashing a big smile with her gal pal. The snap saw her twinning with her pal in a white top, while completing her style with a blue-and-white cap.
"Enjoy your time in Hawaii. Happy Easter," a fan wrote in the comment section. "Kauai was my most memorable vacations with my ex husband and our daughters. Happy Easter to all!! Straight from Boston lol," another fan added.
Jennifer and the kids were not the only ones who joined Ben in Hawaii in recent days. Prior to this, the Batman depicter was seen enjoying his time with girlfriend Lindsay Shookus in Honolulu. Ben and the "Saturday Night Live" producer looked good as ever. They walked hand-in-hand after having romantic breakfast.
Amid rumors of Ben reuniting with Jennifer, a source said that Ben and Lindsay are "very much still together," adding that they are "not rushing anything." The pair reportedly "enjoy each others company" and "are in a committed relationship."
