AceShowbiz - Cardi B has given fans one last taste of "Invasion of Privacy" ahead of the album's release on April 6. The female emcee premiered a new single entitled "Be Careful" on Thursday night, March 29, and it's much softer than her previous bangers.
The three-and-a-half-minute track features Cardi spitting lyrics about the consequences of a man who cheats on her. Fans also get to hear the raptress sing on the track, as she croons on the chorus, "The only man, baby, I adore/ I gave you everything, what's mine is yours/ I want to live your life of course/ But I hope you get what you dyin' for/ Be careful with me."
Fans of Cardi are obviously loving the track, with many praising her for giving off different vibes. One fan writes, "I actually like this a lot, the stripped back production, the lauryn hill interpolation, lack of autotune & not rapping in rhyming cuplets! Giving me 90's vibes dope."
"Be Careful" is the third single off her long-awaited debut album, following "Bartier Cardi" and "Bodak Yellow". Earlier this week, Cardi unveiled the cover art of the album to her Instagram followers.
The cover art found her rocking a checkered black-and-white outfit which she teamed with white-rimmed sunglasses, bold purple lipstick and yellow hair. She was seen sitting on a yellow chair while licking her lips.
Cardi was initially supposed to drop the album in October last year, but she had to delay it as she wasn't ready to release it. Taking to Twitter, she shared that she was pressured as none of her songs were qualified for her album.
"I have a lot of pressure on me. I have songs stashed up. I just don't think they qualified for my album," she wrote on the micro-blogging site. "Sometimes I think it's ready sometimes I think it's not so I'm going to take my time till it's right."
