AceShowbiz - Carrie Underwood is reportedly pregnant and she is expecting not just one, but two babies. The country-pop star is pregnant, months after she took a nasty tumble at her house that left her with a broken wrist and facial injuries, according to a report.

"Friends think Carrie is pregnant, and the buzz is that she's expecting twins!" a so-called insider tells Life & Style. "If you know Carrie at all, [you know] she's been wanting at least two more kids since she had Isaiah in 2015. Twins would be music to her ears!"

Friends further support the claim as they point out that the "American Idol" alum has been eating more than she did during her first pregnancy, which could possibly mean that she's carrying two this time around. The source says, "She's eating far more than she ever did last time she was pregnant and craving foods like dark chocolate and Subway veggie sandwiches."

The insider adds, "Carrie's also begun scaling back on sessions with her personal trainer." The "Cowboy Casanova" hitmaker has allegedly hinted at her pregnancy as she has been discussing baby clothes with her friends.

"Both she and Mike have said that their next big home renovation project is a room for a nursery," the source reveals. "Carrie loves fairy tales and children's books, and would custom design the room as a little kingdom for the twins and stock it with classic books."

The pregnancy news comes after it was reported that Carrie and Mike Fisher's marriage was on the rocks. However, the couple is believed to have worked on their issues, with "faith-based marriage counseling and dedicating quality time to each other" that "has brought them back from the breaking point." The source claims, "Now the idea of having more children has brought them closer together than ever. Carrie doesn't think the timing could be more perfect to have twins."

Carrie has been staying out of the spotlight since she "took a hard fall on some steps outside her home" on November 10. She suffered facial injuries that required 40-50 stitches. In a selfie she shared in February, she partially covered her face with a huge "X" sign, obscuring part of Carrie's face around her lips and chin area.
