AceShowbiz - Trey Songz surrendered himself to LAPD in relation to domestic violence charge. He was arrested early Monday, March 19, in Los Angeles after allegedly physically attacking a woman he was out with during NBA All-Star weekend last month in L.A., TMZ reported.
According to the alleged victim, Andrea Burea, Trey was in jealous rage as Andrea was talking to one of his friends. This made Trey, whose real name is Tremaine Neverson, choke and punch Andrea, 27, during an after-party at the star's rental home in February. She was rushed to hospital after the alleged incident and then filed a police report.
On Monday, the "Song Goes Off" singer was booked at 6:00 A.M. Represented by attorney Shawn Holley, Trey was released shortly after 8:00 A.M. after posting a $50,000 bond. Someone close to the star said, "He has been cooperating with law enforcement from the beginning and is confident when all is said and done that he will be vindicated."
Around the time he surrendered, he wrote to his 13.8 million followers on Twitter, "For weeks my lawyers & Mgmt have asked me not to comment on this and I initially agreed but this morning I feel that my fam, the women that raised me, my friends & fans especially the youth need to hear from me. I am being lied on and falsely accused for someone's personal gain." In a separate tweet, he said, "I won't be speaking too much more on this but would like to thank you for all the prayers and support."

At a press conference with her lawyer Lisa Bloom last week, Andrea said, "While I was on the ground, he continued punching me and he did not stop until his security pulled him off of me." She added, "People stood and watched, and some scurried away. When I called an Uber, he threw my phones over a cliff."
In her restraining order paperwork, Andrea continued, "I tried defending myself by hitting his hand off of my neck, but when I got out of the choke hold, he then started punching me in the face. I was able to get away from him and began circling a car in the garage screaming and crying while others just watched and spread out." She claimed that the beating made her suffer a concussion that led to migraines and vomiting.
Lisa said in a statement to The Daily News, "We are delighted at the news that Trey Songz has been arrested for felony domestic assault against my client Andrea Buera. Andrea will fully cooperate with the investigation and is ready, willing, and able to testify at trial, should that be necessary."
