The Instagram photo sees Reese in full Madeline costume in a blue patterned dress and a navy cardigan. Meanwhile, Laura dons Renata-esque outfit, which consists of a white inner and a black blazer. The Golden Globe Award-winning actress completes her look with a leather skirt and black heeled boots. The two are sitting at an outdoor table at the Seaside Coffee Shop.

"Watch out Monterey, here we come! #BLL2," the "A Wrinkle in Time" star writes in the caption. Laura also posts the same picture on her own account and captions it with, "Madeline and Renata are back. #BLL2."

Also returning for season 2 are Zoe Kravitz, Nicole Kidman and Adam Scott. Adam's Ed Mackenzie is said to be facing major challenges in the upcoming new season. Many assume that the challenges refer to Madeline's presumed affair with the school's theater director.

Meanwhile, Madeline will be confronting the truth of Perry's (Alexander Skarsgard) death and coming to terms with her own marriage and traditional notions of marriage. As for Nicole's Celeste, she is still reeling from her husband's death, "adrift, but determined to fight for her family and find the woman she once was."

Also featuring guest star Meryl Streep, season 2 will introduce Bonnie's (Zoe) parents. Written by David E. Kelley and directed by Andrea Arnold, the 7-episode season 2 of "Big Little Lies" reportedly will arrive in 2019.
