The former 'Beverly Hills, 90210' actress had meltdown in her Woodland Hills, California home reportedly due to stress caused by marriage, financial issues and kids.

AceShowbiz - Police were called to Tori Spelling's home in Woodland Hills, California after her husband Dean McDermott reported disturbance. The 51-year-old actor called 911 around 7 A.M. on Thursday, March 1 to report that his wife was having a nervous breakdown.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that Dean described his wife as very aggressive and going through some sort of mental breakdown. She didn't have any weapons, but after police arrived, the out-of-work actor appeared to be showing his arm to authorities on the front porch of their home.

In pictures that have surfaced online, there was no sign of Tori, but the officers were performing an investigation into the incident. They later decided not to hold her for mental evaluation. It's unknown if the couple's five children, Liam, 10, Stella, 9, Hattie, 6, Finn, 5, and Beau, who turns one on Friday, were at home during the incident.

The day before, on Wednesday afternoon, Tori was hanging out with former "The Bachelor" star Corinne Olympios. Later in the night, she called police because she thought someone was breaking into her house, but it was just her husband coming home.

While it's unclear what caused her breakdown, a source tells ET that the former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star has been stressed out due to various issues. "There are several things that led up to this, and she really couldn't take the pressure any longer," the source says of the 44-year-old actress. "Tori tries to be the best mom she can be, but with five children and terrible financial issues, her marriage has suffered tremendously."

Tori was sued by American Express for an unpaid $38,000 bill in January 2016. In November of that same year, she was sued by American Express for $87,000 in credit card debt. Words are she has been leaning on her mother Candy for money to help pay the bills.

"The burden has landed on Tori," the source says of the actress' financial issues. "Candy allowed them to borrow [money] and [Tori] is in no place at the moment to pay her mother back."

The daughter of late TV and film producer Aaron Spelling, however, denied that she's bankrupt in March 2016. "We're not bankrupt, we're not struggling, we're fine!" she insisted. "[The] kids [are] good, family's good, I'm healthy, finances [are] good."

The source adds that Tori and Dean have been fighting a lot over money and the kids. He reportedly left their house for a couple of days for a break, which is why when he came home on Wednesday night, she thought there was a break-in.

"Her breakdown came after she and Dean had been fighting. She literally was hysterical and, sadly, the kids were home and everyone was scared," the source reveals. "She is under far too much pressure." The source adds, though, that Tori "has calmed down" now and "knows it's time for a change."
