Donya Fiorentino, the third of the 'Harry Potter' actor's five wives, said she just wanted 'our sons and the world to know the truth.'

AceShowbiz - One of Gary Oldman's ex-wives is speaking up about her "nightmare" marriage with the British actor. Donya Fiorentino, the third of his five wives, accused the "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" star of stealing her children, adding that he "ruined" her life.

Telling Daily Mail on Sunday, February 4, Donya, who was married to Gary in 1997 before divorcing in 2001, claimed that she endured years of emotional and physical abuse from the Oscar-nominated actor before he got custody of their children, 20-year-old Gulliver and 18-year-old Charlie. "He stole my children and ruined my life," she shared.

"The truth needs to be told. I would like Gary to stand up and take responsibility for his actions. Will he? Who knows? He has always denied everything," the former model said. "He's a great actor. Was he a great husband? No."

"Our marriage was a giant car crash in which demented things happened. I lost my self-esteem, I was broken. I've been empowered by hearing other women speak up. When a woman gets her voice back, she gets her power back," Donya went on saying. She added that she just wanted "our sons and the world to know the truth. I would rather get eaten by a great white shark than go through that marriage again."

50-year-old Donya, who lives quietly on a 50ft houseboat in the Florida Keys, filed for divorce from the actor in 2001. She claimed that Gary, who played Sirius Black in the "Harry Potter" movie series, was a deadbeat husband who spent thousands of dollars on alcohol and prostitutes every weekend while also allegedly taking drugs. Gary denied the allegations though, calling his ex-wife a "fantasist" who had her own addiction to pills and alcohol and dubbing her an unfit mother.

Donya, however, claimed that she didn't have intention to "hurt" Gary while speaking out like this. "I have $20 in my purse. I’ve got nothing else he can take from me. I'm not speaking out to hurt Gary. In fact, I wish him well," she said.

"He's a brilliant actor and he fully deserves his Oscar. But when you are nominated for an Academy Award you have to be held to a higher standard," she added. Gary is nominated for Best Actor at the 2018 Academy Awards for his role as Winston Churchill in "Darkest Hour".
