AceShowbiz - "Pitch Perfect 3" hit theaters across the U.S. on December 22 and it's grossed more than $20 million. Not only the plot, but everyone also loves the soundtrack for the movie. Among them is Iggy Azalea and Zedd's collaborative track "Boom Boom".

The three-minute track finds Iggy spitting lines over the clock-ticker beats. Priscilla Renea lends her voice for the pre-chorus. "Okay, supercalifragilistic/ Ambionic, go ballistic/ Coldest summer/ Chain and wrist lit," Iggy raps. "Automatic Sonic facelift/ One time gotta hit 'em with the/ Two time like a backstabber/ Baby, coming hear the pitta-patta."

It appeared that "Boom Boom" was supposed to be included in Iggy's "Digital Distortion", which had been scrapped. The raptress first teased a demo version of the song last year by sharing on Twitter a clip of her jamming to the song. "The studio was pretty fun last night," so she captioned the clip.

In a radio interview in early this year, Iggy confirmed that the track would serve as the soundtrack for "Baywatch". She said at the time, "There's one more that I did with Zedd that's going to be pretty fun too and it's actually going to be on the 'Baywatch' soundtrack." However, it was pulled at the last minute, and in May, Iggy leaked the song herself following a feud with her former label, Def Jam.

Prior to officially releasing "Boom Boom", the Australian rapper shared on Twitter a link to download a four-track pack entitled "4 My Ratz". Produced by pal Ljay Currie, Iggy said that all the songs are motivational. "I'm going to put some songs up tonight that my friend @iamljaycurrie produced for me over the summer that I feel are motivational," she tweeted at the time.

Iggy is currently gearing up for a new project called "Surviving the Summer", which is scheduled to be released next year.
