AceShowbiz - Another infamous cult leader will be featured in an upcoming episode of "American Horror Story: Cult". Creator Ryan Murphy has taken to his Instagram account to give fans of the FX series a treat, sharing the first look at Evan Peters as notorious cult leader Charles Manson.

The photo sees Peters' Manson, with an appropriately wild gleam in his eye, sticking his tongue out. Murphy simply captions the snap, "Evan Peters or Charles Manson?" The photo arrived after the creator previewed Peters as Andy Warhol, another cult leader whom Peters portrayed in this season, earlier this month.

Charles Manson, who orchestrated nine murders during the '60s, is the third cult leader that Peters plays in this season. Manson, born Charles Milles Maddox, led his followers a.k.a. the Manson Family to commit a series of nine murders at four locations in July and August 1969. One of his victims was eight-month pregnant actress Sharon Tate.

In addition to playing his main role as Kai Anderson, a Trump supporter that uses fear to gain more power, Peters played Warhol in this week's special episode co-starring Lena Dunham. The actor has also been tapped to portray cult leaders David Koresh, the leader of the Branch Dividians who hosted a 51-day stand off with the FBI in Waco, and Jim Jones, whose 1,000 followers committed suicide via cyanide poisoning.

"[He] is playing Kai, this cult leader in this small town who we follow as he rises. And the thing that we're doing is we're really examining all different sorts of cults," Murphy previously said of Peters' roles. "And there are many, many famous ones. Throughout the season, Evan Peters is, I think, playing six different cult leaders: Kai, Manson, David Koresh, Andy Warhol. Jim Jones is a big one."
