Krasinski's CIA analyst Ryan is featured sitting in front of presumably two terrorists before sliding a phone forward and saying, 'We know who you are.'

AceShowbiz - The first look at John Krasinski on Amazon's "Jack Ryan" is finally here. "The Office" alum made his debut as the titular CIA analyst in a newly-released teaser after being M.I.A. in the first six teasers.

The 35-second teaser opens with two men being taken in hoods to an undisclosed location, somewhere in the Middle East. Enter Krasinski's Ryan, who sits right in front of the men for an interrogation before their hoods are removed.

Donning a black tee, he slides forward a cell phone. "All the accounts link back to this phone. We know who you are," he sternly says to the men.

While the brief teaser doesn't reveal much about the plot, it does set the tone for the 8-part series. The series, based on a series of books written by acclaimed spy novelist Tom Clancy, follows CIA analyst Jack Ryan, who "uncovers a pattern in terrorist communication that launches him into the center of a dangerous gambit with a new breed of terrorism that threatens destruction on a global scale."

Morten Tyldum ("The Imitation Game") serves behind the lens, while Graham Roland ("Almost Human") writes based on a story he and showrunner Carlton Cuse ("Bates Motel") develop. Cuse also executive produces alongside Krasinski, Michael Bay and Roland. Also executive producing are Brad Fuller, Andrew Form, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Marcy Ross Mace Neufeld while Lindsey Springer co-executive produces.

The cast also includes Wendell Pierce ("Ray Donovan", "The Wire") and Abbie Cornish ("Limitless"). Pierce portrays James Greer with Cornish playing Cathy Mueller. The cast of the upcoming spy series is slated to make its first-ever appearance at New York Comic-Con on October 7.

Produced by Paramount TV and Skydance TV, "Jack Ryan" is set to arrive sometime in 2018.
