'America's Got Talent' Finale Recap: Top 10 Deliver Stunning Performances
TV

Both the judges and the audience were offered breathtaking performances, from stunning dramatic dances by Diavolo to mind-blowing ventriloquism by Darci Lynne.

AceShowbiz - Tonight on "America's Got Talent", 10 amazing acts performed for America's vote for the last time. The judges, Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Melanie Brown a.k.a. Mel B, and the audience were offered breathtaking performances, from stunning dramatic dances by Diavolo to mind-blowing ventriloquism by Darci Lynne.

Kicking off the Tuesday, September 19 night was Angelica Hale. The 10-year-old wore an adorable, sparkling gold dress while slaying "Symphony" by Clean Bandit featuring Zara Larsson. It was such a perfect song choice with Heidi dubbing Angelica "the best singer in the competition."

Chase Goehring followed Angelica's performance with another original song. Bringing his guitar, Chase serenaded everyone at the Dolby Theater with his song titled "Mirror". Howie gushed, "I really think you're like Logic and Ed Sheeran put together." Simon added by calling him the "future" of shows like this.

For their final performance, Sarah & Hero brought their best tricks to the stage. Sarah and her dog, joined by Loki, managed to put smiles on the judges' faces with their adorable actions, including the trio playing jump rope. Despite the "incredible" performance, Howie, however, pointed out some hiccups in the trick. Mel also said that she didn't think that it was executed as well as it could have been.

And now, it was Diavolo's turn to hit the stage. The dance troupe earned standing ovation from both the judges and the audience after delivering a mind-blowing, fiery performance. "You are collectively a force that embodies teamwork," Mel said. Simon, meanwhile, added, "Anyone who owns a casino or something in Vegas, book these guys. They will bring an audience!"

Evie Clair was up next. She belted out an emotional rendition of "What a Wonderful World" following the tragic death of her father just a week ago. There wasn't a dry eye in the room as everyone was so mesmerized by her heart-wrenching performance.

Preacher Lawson took the stage to bring the laughs to the studio. He delivered a hilarious story as he recalled a weird run-in with a naked stranger, who asked Preacher $75 for a soda. Heidi, however, thought it wasn't Preacher's best performance, saying that his material fell flat for her. But most of the audience didn't agree with the model as she got booed for her opinions.

Kechi opted for "Conqueror" by Estelle for the finale. Dressed in a beautiful bejeweled gown, she nailed the song. "I just love you! That wasn't a song. That was an anthem," Simon exclaimed. "You made the choice to survive and you inspire the world," Howie gushed.

Following after Kechi was Darci Lynne. The singing ventriloquist brought along her puppet friends Oscar and Petunia to the stage. Darci flaunted her skill as they sang "With a Little Help From My Friends" by The Beatles. Maybe because tonight was the finale, the judges somehow set the bar higher than usual. Mel said that Darci's perfomance wasn't as great as before.

Mandy Harvey took the stage to sing an original song about moving on and going forward. Her angelic voice successfully amazed Simon and everyone at the studio. "You are so incredibly current and you don't even know it," Simon complimented the deaf singer.

Ukrainian dance group Light Balance rounded out that night with an amazing, creative and electrifying performance. Simon couldn't hide his excitement as he said, "This is like the Super Bowl, you think someone's won it, then something else happens ten minutes later that changes it all!" Heidi added, "You should already be in Vegas and I'm going to see it again and again!"

The 10 acts are all stunning but there will be only one winner. "America's Got Talent" will reveal this year's winner on Wednesday, September 20 at 8 P.M. on NBC.
