@hunterschwarz compared the two's handshake to a scene on "House of Cards" season 3. "Underwood and Petrov in 'House of Cards' season 3 vs. Trump and Putin IRL," he tweeted. "Trump-Putinology: Body language? Trump dominated by Putin. Trump looks like he is reporting to Principle's office. Perhaps he is," @MalcolmNance added.

Trump and Putin's meeting wasn't the only meeting that people anticipated. They also looked forward to German Chancellor Angela Merkel's reaction to meeting him. "Angela Merkel: Ugh. The dummkopf is talking about his crowd size again. Merkel is ALL of us at the G-20 #FridayFeeling," @FionaAdorno tweeted alongside a photo of Merkel seemingly hiding her face in distress.

@Mike_P_Williams created a funny "scenario" that could've happened. "Trump: hey angela. Merkel: … Trump: me again. Merkel: .......... Trump: i'm still president. Merkel:...," he wrote.
