Donald Trump Reacts to Arnold Schwarzenegger's Exit From 'Celebrity Apprentice'
TV

The POTUS claims Arnie didn't leave the show on his own accord but he was let go due to the declining ratings.

AceShowbiz - Donald Trump fired back at Arnold Schwarzenegger after the actor quit "The Celebrity Apprentice". The President basically accused Arnie of lying as he wrote on Twitter that the former Governor of California was fired from the show.

"Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't voluntarily leaving the Apprentice, he was fired by his bad (pathetic) ratings, not by me. Sad end to great show," POTUS tweeted. Arnie quickly replied, "You should think about hiring a new joke writer and a fact checker."

Donald Trump has been blaming Arnold Schwarzenegger for "The Apprentice" declining ratings. However, Arnie begged to differ, "It's not about the show because everyone I ran into came up to me and said, 'I love the show, but I turned it off because as soon as I read Trump's name I'm outta there!' "

"I loved every second of working with NBC and Mark Burnett," he said. "Everyone - from the celebrities to the crew to the marketing department - was a straight 10, and I would absolutely work with all of them again on a show that doesn't have this baggage."
