AceShowbiz - Another star is announced to join the upcoming new take on "The Predator". Yvonne Strahovski who previously played the leading female on "Chuck" and was once a fan favorite for "Captain Marvel" is set to join the remake.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Strahovski is in final talks to play the mother of Jacob Tremblay's character, a troubled boy who is accidentally drawn into the conflict with the fierce alien creatures by her ex-husband (played by "Logan" star Boyd Holbrook).
Shane Black directs and co-writes the reboot. The production begins in Vancouver. Yvonne Strahovski, Jacob Tremblay and Boyd Holbrook are joined by Keegan-Michael Key, Trevante Rhodes, Thomas Jane, Alfie Allen and Olivia Munn. The revamped version is slated to hit theaters across the nation starting February 9, 2018.
