AceShowbiz - Margot Robbie is signing a first look deal with Warner Bros. to executive produce an untitled Harley Quinn project, a spin-off for her "Suicide Squad" character. The new project expands the Australian actress' relationship with the studio where they also produce an adaptation of Dean N. Jensen's "Queen of the Air", in which she is tapped to star.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the deal will allow Margot to develop and produce feature films through her LuckyChap banner. She will develop and produce along with her LuckyChap partners Tom Ackerley, Josey McNamara and Sophia Kerr.

The 26-year-old actress, who made her breakout performance in Martin Scorsese's "The Wolf of Wall Street" and won Empire Award for Best Female Newcomer, has quickly waded into the world of producing. She and her partners are in post-production on neo noir thriller "Terminal", their first movie as producers.

She will play a disgraced figure skater in the Tonya Harding biopic, "I, Tonya", which LuckyChap is developing and producing. Her production banner is also developing an adaptation of Matt Ruff's novel "Bad Monkeys" along with Scott Stuber and Dylan Clark of Bluegrass Films at Universal Pictures.

Margot is providing the voice to a character in animation "Larrikins" featuring Rose Byrne, Naomi Watts, Hugh Jackman and Ben Mendelsohn. Directed by Chris Miller and Tim Minchin, it is set for a February, 2018 release in U.S. theaters.
