AceShowbiz - The "Gambit (2016)" movie starring Channing Tatum has secured a release date. On Monday, January 5, the actor took to his social media accounts to share the "X-Men" spin-off release date. "How do you say October 7, 2016 in Cajun?" he wrote, referring to the native dialect of the character. On that day, "Gambit" will face competitions from Warner Bros.' "Live by Night" and Universal's "Monster High".

A comedy "Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates", which sees two brothers who place an ad on Craigslist to seek a wedding date, is now taking "Apes" original release date. Directed by Jake Szymanski, the movie which so far has no cast members sees no other competition on the date.
"Assassin's Creed", an adaptation from the popular video game starring Michael Fassbender, is set to hit U.S. theaters on December 21, 2016. "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will make its way out to theaters a few days prior. Hugh Jackman-starring "The Greatest Showman on Earth" which sees him playing P.T. Barnum is out on December 25, 2016.
