The former Spice Girls member has finally set the record straight about domestic abuse rumors which emerged after she was hospitalized earlier this month.

AceShowbiz - Mel B a.k.a. Melanie Brown took to Instagram on Sunday, December 28 to address rumors that her husband Stephen Belafonte abused her. Mel B posted a photo of her and Stephen, saying that her husband would never hit her.
"This is for my fans havin problems with my Twitter will be back soon!" the former Spice Girls member wrote alongside the photo, "I'm very good was very polly but much better now and for the record my hubby never would lay a hand on me sorry took so long but any response fuels rumors #lovemyfamily #lovemyfans."
On Christmas Day, Mel B shared a photo of her, Stephen and their three daughters. "Have a merry Christmas! #familytime #funday," the former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant captioned the photo.
Mel B sparked domestic violence rumors after she was hospitalized in London earlier this month. At that time, she missed the first night of "The X Factor" finale. Some reports said she had collapsed because of stomach ulcer while other reports suggested domestic abuse. She later fueled domestic abuse speculation after she returned to the show with alleged bruises and scratches on her arms and face.
Stephen slammed the rumors back then, writing on Twitter, "Idon't usually respond to Twitter msgs but I will respond to comments of hitting my wife which I think are quite disgusting un true! Mel was very ill a bunch of doctors helped her get better if fans can't just relax B4 being negative they r not real fans of @OfficialMelB."
On December 24, Stephen posted a photo of him going Christmas shopping with Mel B's 13-year-old daughter Phoenix. When commenters slammed her for hanging out with an alleged abuser, Phoenix wrote, "Can everyone just chill he didn't hit my mom don't know how that stupid [rumor] came up."
