After revealing through Twitter that he has tied the knot with Victor Voronov, the three-time U.S. National Champion clarifies that the actual wedding will take place in the summer of 2012.

AceShowbiz - Figure skating champion Johnny Weir is officially off the market. On Saturday, December 31, the openly gay skater broke the news to his nearly 103,000 Twitter followers that he has married his lawyer boyfriend Victor Voronov on New Year's Eve. He simply tweeted, "I'm married!"

27-year-old Weir clarified that there will be a wedding in the summer of 2012 after Jill Zarin, the former star of "The Real Housewives of New York", wrote to him, "What? No wedding?" The three-time U.S. National Champion additionally explained, "But all the official stuff is done now! No more livin' in sin!"

The former "Skating with the Stars" judge opened up about his nuptials to Voronov in an interview a few days before the New Year. "I'm getting married on New Year's Eve," he told IceNetwork.com. "His name is Victor [Voronov], he's kind of everything that I've ever looked for and aspired to be in a relationship with."

"We've known each other for a long time and we reconnected over the summer, and it's just been a whirlwind," he continued on dishing. "I'm very happy with my personal life and also my professional life, and I thank God I can be exactly where I'm at."

It seemed that Weir and his new husband Voronov are enjoying a honeymoon in the Dominican Republic. On Monday, January 2, he tweeted, "Touchdown Punta Cana! Time for a Corona with lime and a bite of swordfish!" He later expressed his gratitude for the well-wishers, "Thank you to everyone for your well wishes to me and @vitya_zvesda! It means a lot to have your blessings!"
