AceShowbiz - Amidst controversy surrounding her support to Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul, it's revealed that Kelly Clarkson is going to kick off New Year with a free concert. She's scheduled make live performances in the Jackson Square on January 2, 2012 as part of Allstate Fan Fest.
The other headliners who have been booked to sing at the upcoming family-friendly festivity are Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, The Neville Brothers and Cee-Lo Green. In a respective order, the three music acts are going to take the stage on January 1, 7 and 8.
Next year, Allstate Fan Fest will return to the Crescent City for the sixth year with a variety of fun activities and concert performances for college football fans and New Orleans residents. Those will lead up to the 78th Allstate Sugar Bowl and the 2012 Allstate BCS National Championship.
