AceShowbiz - Marvel heat up the summer 2014 blockbuster race with release dates for two unspecified movies. Disney have claimed May 16, 2014 slot and June 27, 2014 release for two of Marvel's future projects without naming the films.
Disney has additionally set an unspecified Pixar film for May 30, 2014 release. Taking the same route by securing a release date for yet-to-be-shot movie, Lionsgate has just set November 22, 2013 as the day when "The Hunger Games" sequel, Catching Fire", hits theaters. Meanwhile, Sony has dated "The Amazing Spider-Man" sequel for May 2, 2014.
In the meantime, Marvel will be gearing up to unleash other superhero films, including "The Avengers" (May 4, 2012), "Iron Man 3" (May 3, 2013), and "Thor 2" (July 26, 2013).
