2011 Teen Choice Awards: 'Deathly Hallows' Rules Movie Winners

The Daniel Radcliffe-starring movie won not less than seven trophies, while its big contender 'The Twilight Saga's Eclipse' won in at least three categories.

AceShowbiz - "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" won big at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards. The wizard boy film grabbed not less than seven trophies at the event that took place at Gibson Amphiteatre in Universal City, California on Sunday, August 7.

Beating its strongest contender "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse", "Deathly Hallows: Part I" nabbed the coveted Choice Movie: Sci-Fi/Fantasy Award. The movie also led its leading actress Emma Watson to grab a Surfboard kudo for Choice Movie Actress: Sci-Fi/Fantasy, while Tom Felton was named Choice Movie: Villain.

Emma and Daniel Radcliffe's kissing scene in the movie was voted as the winner for Choice Movie: Liplock. The last installment of "Harry Potter" film franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II", additionally dominated the winners in Choice Summer Movie categories, with Emma and Daniel winning Choice Summer Movie Actress and Actor respectively.

Meanwhile, Robert Pattinson caused a frenzy when he was announced as a recepient of a Surfboard that evening. The British actor won the Choice Movie Actor: Drama title for his role in "Water for Elephants". The Edward Cullen of the "Twilight Saga" series added another trophy from non-traditional category as he was named Choice Vampire.

Nonetheless, Rob couldn't defeat his own "Twilight" co-star, Taylor Lautner, to take home a throphy for Choice Movie Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy. Lautner won the award for his role as Jacob Black in "Eclipse".

Also winning multiple kudos was "The Tourist". The action movie's leading actor Johnny Depp and actress Angelina Jolie came out as the winner in Choice Movie Actor and Choice Movie Actress respectively.

Hosted by Kaley Cuoco, the 2011 Teen Choice Awards also presented trophies for winners in music, television and non-traditional categories. Among the presenters at the annual event were Taylor Swift, Jason Bateman, Kellan Lutz, Justin Bieber, Cameron Diaz, Kim Kardashian and Tyra Banks.
