AceShowbiz - Universal Pictures has dropped a new full-length trailer for "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World". Making its way out via Apple, the video opens with scenes in which Scott Pilgrim falls in love with a girl who is out of his league, but she surprisingly accepts his dating invitation.
While the first seconds of the trailer are quite common, some next footage are presented in a comical way. They particularly highlight the fights between Scott and Ramona's seven evil ex-boyfriends.
Based on Bryan Lee O'Malley's comic book series entitled "Scott Pilgrim", the film follows jobless Scott Pilgrim who falls in love with Ramona Flowers. Never having problems of getting a girlfriend before, this time the young slacker finds out that he must defeat her seven evil ex-boyfriends to win his true love.
Michael Cera leads while Mary Elizabeth Winstead portrays Ramona. Among the depicters of Ramona's evil exes are Satya Bhabha, Chris Evans, Brandon Routh, Mae Whitman and Jason Schwartzman. Directed by Edgar Wright, this action comedy will hit theaters across the U.S. on August 13.
