Dating Kate Hudson for several months, Alex Rodriguez is said to have been flirting with her belief Buddhism and has been considering to become its devotee. "It's an important part of her life," says an insider. "And it seems like Alex really just wants to make her happy."
Per New York Daily News, Kate brings great influence in Alex's spiritual belief change. The movie beauty was said bringing Buddha prayer beads with her to his game last Friday, October 16 as a good luck charm. "It was a long strand of brown beads, and she and her friends would pick them up from time to time," an eyewitness testifies.
A representative for Alex declines to comment on the matter though, and Kate's representative hasn't addressed the matter just yet. Though so, it is believed that should Alex convert to Buddhism, he will please Kate's mother Goldie Hawn who is active in the faith and has even met the Dalai Lama. "Goldie more than approves of Alex," continues the insider. "If he becomes a Buddhist, it'll only seal the deal."
Since being romantically linked in May this year, neither Kate Hudson nor Alex Rodriguez has made verbal confirmation that they are dating. Yet, the actress and baseball player are often spotted spending time together and getting cozy. Last month, they were forced to deny rumors that claimed they have got engaged.
