There is no truth to reports that Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez are engaged. A spokesperson for the sports star has slammed the claim, telling Gossip Cop that earlier story of the lovebirds getting engaged and are about to get married is "absolutely not true."
Report that Kate and Alex got engaged was first brought to the surface by New York Daily News on Wednesday, September 9. The site claimed the actress was spotted wearing a sparkly diamond band on her left ring finger while attending Yankees game on Monday night, September 7.
New York Daily News, moreover, cited a source as claiming to have witnessed Kate wearing the gem when she was typing on her BlackBerry. The site stated that representatives for both Kate and Alex didn't return calls for comment. However, Alex's spokesperson insisted to have told the paper that the two stars are not engaged, but they went on publishing the false story.
