Rumor on the street suggesting Eminem shot down fellow rapper Soulja Boy in a song titled "Die Already" is not true. Setting the record straight is the Slim Shady himself by posting a short message on his Twitter.
"Wow whoever made 'Die Already' really does sound like me," Eminem wrote on the social network hours after the track hit the web. "But it ain't."
"Die Already", which features someone's vocal similar to Eminem's, carries lyrics which name Soulja Boy as "Soulja Girl." It also contains lines read, "How can you give him the respect that y'all give him?"
During his career in music, Eminem has dissed many public figures. Just to name some, he has shot down the likes of Jessica Simpson and Kim Kardashian in song "We Made You" and in a music video that accompanies it. Most recently, he went after Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, mocking the celebrity couple in a track titled "Warning".
