The former 'Prison Break' star is narrowing it down to a guest star appearance as the man in blue.

Post wrapping up his work on "Prison Break", Wentworth Miller jumps to the next project, a guest starring appearance on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit". TV Guide Magazine, which was first to report it, said that the actor will play an NYPD cop named Nate Kendal.

Nate saves a rape victim and only wants to interact with Det. Elliot Stabler and Olivia Benson. His cameo reportedly will be the first episode of the eleventh season which airs in a new night in the Fall season starting Wednesday, September 23 at 9/8c.

Earlier this week, Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay have reached a deal with Universal Media Studios to have them back for two more years. Speaking to TV Guide Mag regarding the deal that brings him $400,000 salary per episode, Chris said "I feel great! The unknown is always a little distracting. Once all the T's get crossed and the I's get dotted, it's just a sense of 'Ok, now I can focus on things more important to you.' "
