The trailer features first look at Ricky Gervais as Mark, Jennifer Garner as Jennifer, Rob Lowe as Rob and Tina Fey as Shelley.

Gervais teams up with Matthew Robinson to pen and direct "The Invention of Lying", which was originally being produced under the title "This Side of the Truth". It started shooting in Lowell, Massachusetts in April 2008 before wrapping it up in early June 2008. Jonah Hill and Jason Bateman also play a part in it. "Lying" is set to hit U.S. theaters September 25.
