Nick Cannon Denies Mariah Carey Is Pregnant

Nick Cannon is quick to put the brake on the false rumors claiming his wife Mariah Carey is pregnant. Commenting on the persistent false pregnancy reports which repeatedly hit him and the pop diva, Cannon tells Mario Lopez of "Extra", "I think what it is, the public really wants us to have kids. We're going to do it and when we do it we're going to let you all know. But right now, we're trying to enjoy the newlywed aspect."

"We were walking out of the office where Will Smith's office is," Nick says of the circulating claims that he and Carey were spotted leaving a clinic. "Unless Will Smith is delivering babies on the low...," the actor jokes.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, who have been married since April last year, added fuel to the existing rumors of them expecting their first child after they reportedly were seen shopping for a $200,000 worth of baby gear at a children's store in San Francisco. Among the items they bought were a pink crib and a highchair, which then ignited further speculation that they were expecting a baby girl. Greater than that, it was said that the particular baby gear were to be set up in the $125 million David Saperstein's mansion in Holmby Hills, which Carey reportedly is planning to buy.
