Leighton Meester, one of "Gossip Girl" leading cast, tells Seventeen magazine's March issue that she actually likes "guys who are rebels and make their own rules" because they "are appealing" for her. "I don't want to tame anybody. I want them to be dark and bad," so she says when referring to the qualities she looks for in a man.

Preventing any possible misunderstanding, she quickly explains, "[G]uys who are a little bad - and by bad, I mean they're not like constantly around - I consider gold." She furthermore continues, "Guys who are unavailable are actually a dream come true for me because I'm unavailable all the time. It's great they're not down your throat."

"I haven't ever really relied on relationships with guys," Meester tells Seventeen of her own character. "They come around and it's cool, but it's never been a big thing. I guess I've just been really distracted by work."

Off screen, Leighton Meester has been dating actor Sebastian Stan since 2007. They first met on the set of The CW's teen dramedy "Gossip Girl" when he played a recurring role, called Carter Baizen, alongside her character Blair Waldorf.

Acting aside, Meester has previously hinted an interest to start a singing career, telling reporters she is planning to make so-called "electropop" music for her debut studio album. "The music is very fun. It's edgy, like electropop rather than bubblegum and you can dance to it," so she said in an interview.
