Third and last part of the TV guide that AceShowbiz compile, gives list of the TV shows continuing the half part of the season.

AceShowbiz - In the past two days, AceShowbiz has gathered the TV shows that will take over the small screen this January, either with their new season or with their debut. In this third and last part, we highlight those that have kicked off the season during the Fall or further back and are back to continue the story.

Some of the shows have been shuffled in the schedule and take a different time slot. Since there's quite a gap between the fall and the midseason, below we help you to recall to what happen to the latest episode and give scoops on what will be in the new one.

The CW

Gossip Girl       Monday, Jan. 5 at 8/7c.

Dealing with the aftermath of Bart's death

In the last episode: Chuck left Blair after a night of embrace, Lily unveiled her biggest secret, Elanor and Cfyrus tied the knot and Serena decided to go with Aaron to Argentina. In the upcoming episode: Chuck deals with his uncle Jack who decides to mend the situation after Bart's death. Jenny is back to school only to get tangled by a bunch of mean girls, Serena takes a break from her relationship with Aaron and Blair trying to get accepted in the most prestigious club in the city.

Also continuing the season on The CW: "One Tree Hill" (Jan. 5, 9/8c), "90210" (Jan. 6, 8/7c), "Smallville" (Jan. 15, 8/7c), "Supernatural" (Jan. 15, 9/8c).

Grey's Anatomy      Thursday, Jan. 8 at 9/8c.

Christina and Meredith rub it off

In the last episode: Christina earned her solo surgery while Callie figured out what kind of signals that Sadie sent. In the upcoming episode: Callie and Sloan work as a team to fight their respective attractions to Sadie and Lexie. Christina's friendship continues to erode after a death roe inmate is admitted to the hospital and stir anger within Derek.

Nip/Tuck       Tuesday, Jan. 6 at 10/9c.

Christian tries monogamy and Sean finds new love

In the last episode: A starlet requested a surgery to correct her botched makeover. Christian reunites with an old flame and Matt coming into terms for sleeping with his own sister and Julia was rushed to hospital following a shooting. In the upcoming episode: Christian will give monogamy a try and receives some troubling news. Sean's physical and emotional well-being are greatly impacted after he survives the attack from Colleen.

FOX

House M.D.       Monday, Jan. 19 at 8/7c

House and Cuddy overcome their awkward situation

In the last episode: Thirteen and Foreman's relationship grows stronger as they work together and learn about each other. House and Cuddy receive gifts that lead to team speculation. In the upcoming episode: House and Cuddy are both fixing up their homes, while Foreman has a difficult choice to make.

Sci Fi

Battlestar Galactica       Friday, Jan. 16 at 10/9c

What happens to the Earth?

In the last episode: The Galactica scans this waystation on the route to Earth arrives at the Earth only to be surprised by the appalling condition. Kara is back to deliver a message of cosmic importance. In the upcoming episode: The Chief is trying to remember what happens to Earth and the search for the final Cylon is continued.

30 Rock       Thursday, Jan. 8 at 9.30/8.30c

Jack hitting on his mother's nurse

In the last episode: Liz savors her hunger for child by helping a charity for underprivileged children. Jack's mother stops him from taking a Christmas vacation. In the upcoming episode: Liz is attracted to a new guy but Jenna is worried that it's merely because she wants a child. And Jack is busy aiding Tracy to arrange a post-nup and hitting his mother's nurse, Elisa (guest star Salma Hayek).

A guard's murder becomes the center of investigation

In the last episode: While stuck working on a case over Christmas, the team searches for a suspect presumed dead and begins to discover some startling personal revelations. In the upcoming episode: McGee becomes trapped in a women's prison after inmates riot and take over as the team investigates a guard's murder.

USA

Monk       Friday, Jan. 9 at 9/8c

Monk deals with his half-brother

In the last episode: Monk finds himself drawn towards the local monastery in search of a miracle when the fountain gains healing powers. In the upcoming episode: Monk meets his half-brother, Jack Monk, Jr., a charming grifter who just escaped from prison and is the prime suspect in a murder.

Also continuing the season on USA: "Psych " (Jan.9, 10.30/9.30c).
