Taking the finale's excitement down a notch, Access Hollywood reported that host/executive producer Klum has announced the dropping out of the 39-year-old from her participation as guest judge on Friday, September 12, when her appearance was scheduled to be taped.

Revealing the fact in New York at the"Project Runway" Season Five Finale Fashion show, the famed model noted that the cancellation was made due to a foot injury. Following Klum's announcement over the matter, Lopez's representative gave out confirmation on her exit, but insisted that the wife of singer Marc Anthony will still join Nautica Malibu Triathlon in Malibu, California.

Filling out the vacant position left by Lopez is the contestants' mentor and fashion guru Tim Gunn. It would be his first of being a judge on the show. On Gunn's sudden participation as the show's judge, "Runway" executive producer Andy Cohen wrote on his blog at BravoTV.com, "Unfortunately our guest judge hurt her leg, but Tim Gunn stepped in to the rescue and RUNWAY fans who've always dreamed of seeing Sir Tim judge are going to get their wish."

Season five final episode of "Runway" will be presented in two parts.
