The Streatham-born female sparked engagement rumors after she was spotted wearing a ring on her wedding finger while attending a dinner in honor of Nelson Mandela on Wednesday August 29th at the Dorchester Hotel.
"Naomi had a ring on her wedding finger and when someone tried to chat her up she waggled it at him and said, 'Uh-uh'. He was gobsmacked," the Mirror quoted a fellow guest as saying.
However, it is later confirmed that the ring is just a "joke" she wore to avoid unwanted male attention. "It was a joke," her rep says. "Naomi's not engaged. It's her dad's ring. She turned him down because he had a wedding ring on his finger."
