One "Twilight Saga" star will go from portraying a vampire in the drama series to be a person haunted by supernatural presence in "The Apparition". Variety reported that Robert Pattinson's on-screen sister, Ashley Greene, is in talks to star in the horror movie produced by Joel Silver's Dark Castle.

It is still unclear what character the 22-year-old will take on, but the story, which reportedly is inspired by true events, centers on a young couple haunted by a supernatural presence unleashed during a college experiment. Should the negotiations go according to plan, she is expected to join the production when it starts on February 1, 2010.

Rihanna will not release her new album "Rated R" in U.S. market until November 23. However, music fans will have a chance to listen to the upcoming effort a week prior when its songs are performed by the Barbadian songstress from a secret location in London on November 16.

The special gig will be streamed live by Nokia. "I am so excited to partner up with Nokia. They are doing some really revolutionary things with this album, enabling me to reach more fans than ever before," Rihanna commented.

Director Guillermo del Toro has recently discussed the visions he has for the creatures to be seen in "The Hobbit". To Total Film, he opened up about the work he did for the dragon Smaug, the spiders of Mirkwood, the Wargs and others, saying "The way I phrased it to Weta, I said we would keep the DNA in the same gene pool as the Rings trilogy, but that we would generate a different type of character."

"For example, in the trilogy most of the creatures are brutish or inarticulate. In The Hobbit, the creatures speak: Smaug has beautiful lines of dialog; the Great Goblin has beautiful lines of dialog; many creatures do," the 45-year-old went on explaining. "So we had to design them with a different approach because you are not just designing things that are scary."

One person dared to cross the line and revealed that "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami" is fake. NBA star Rashad McCants who dated the show's star Khloe Kardashian and was often featured on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" came clean with the episode of "Miami" where he was accused of cheating with a female fan.

In some quotes acquired by NY Post, the former Minnesota Timberwolves player said that Khloe and her sister Kourtney Kardashian "made the whole thing up". There was one episode when the sisters were hacking into McCants' voice mail and listened to phone messages left for him by a female fan.

The first leg of Jay-Z's on-going tour to support his studio album "The Blueprint 3" will soon end on November 22. But, the rap mogul has announced a number of new dates in 2010 for those who missed his previous concerts.

The second leg of the gig will be started on February 22 in Texas and will continue through March 26 in California. Serving as an opening act is Young Jeezy. Tickets for the tour will go on sale beginning November 13.

Jackson Rathbone has no hesitation to share with Glamour U.K. on what he has in mind about love and lust. In an interview for the December 2009 issue of the magazine, he compares the two components to whiskey and tequila.

"Lust tastes like tequila and love tastes like whiskey," says the Jasper Hale depicter in "Twilight" and its much awaited sequel "The Twilight Saga's New Moon". He goes on elaborating, "Love burns for longer and warms you up on the inside and sometimes it makes you do stupid things. Tequila just makes you wasted."

More sneak peeks at "Planet 51" have been shared through a new extended clip and a fresh behind-the-scenes (BTS). The clip comes out courtesy of Yahoo! Movies and runs for two minutes long. Entitled "Big Bad Monster", it offers a look at the time Chuck Baker makes his first touch at the green aliens' planet and generates fear among the inhabitants.

The BTS, in the meantime, is found at Sony Pictures' YouTube account. In addition to the glimpses of new footage, it contains commentary about the characters and the story from some of the voice cast ensemble. Among those describing what the movie is all about are Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Justin Long, Jessica Biel and Seann William Scott.

Lady GaGa revealed that she had the liberation to perform they way she wanted on "Gossip Girl". The singer said in an interview with MTV News that the writers let her do "whatever the hell". She called the cameo a "crazy performance-art piece."

Her teen sister was actually the one who encouraged her to play a part on the show. She explained, "First of all, my sister's a huge fan, and she's 17 years old. So when I called her and said 'Gossip Girl' wants to put my whole new album on the show and have me perform, she was like 'Oh my God, you have to do it. It's an amazing show'. And I'd seen it. It's a great show."

A brand new photo taken during the filming of Mariah Carey's "H.A.T.E.U." on Malibu beach in California has been put forward on Mariah's official website. The snap shows the wife of actor/singer Nick Cannon hitting the shore only in bikini.

The video is directed by Mariah's long time collaborator Brett Ratner and has been wrapped on November 4 during which he tweeted a picture of him and Mariah. Recently, Brett reunited with Mariah when directing her "Obsessed" video.

"Smallville" version of The Wonder Twins stick to the comic version by presenting them in purple although they don't exactly wear tights. The first photos of the eighth episode this season titled "Idols" where they are slated to make the first appearance have been released.

Superhero twins Zan and Jayna show up in Metropolis to help The Blur fight crime but end up botching several rescues, landing Clark in hot water with the District Attorney's office. In the episode, Clark decides to come forward as the Blur to clear his name.

Actor Cory Monteith and actress Lea Michele are the latest celebs who become the target of romance rumors. Though they have insisted that they are just friends, speculation is brewing that they are embarking on a love relationship.

Playing it coy when asked to confirm about the nature of their relationship, Cory and Lea however have nothing but praise for each other. "He's great and he makes me laugh," Lea tells OK! Magazine. As for Cory, he says "We've become very close friends."

Most of Disney's animations are famed for their everlasting songs, and with "The Princess and the Frog" fast approaching its theatrical release, the mouse house prepares a special featurette highlighting on the music of the new animation. The featurette provides sneak peek at some of the songs listed in the soundtrack with guidance from star Anika Noni Rose.

In the promo video, Rose first talked about her character Tiana and her other favorite character from the film, the lovesick Cajun firefly named Ray. As she discussed about the music, Keith David's track "Friends on the Other Side" and Jenifer Lewis' "Dig a Little Deeper" get a brief preview. The actress later went on explaining what makes her "Almost There" song a unique one.

"Fresh Out the Oven" music video actually has been premiered during Jennifer Lopez's visit to nightclub LIV last month. However, it hasn't been debuted on TV and only makes its way out through a bootleg version on the Internet.

Recently, MTV has got a sneak peek to the video in its high quality. It features females and males dancing and bouncing to the Pitbull-featuring track which serves as a promotional song for Jennifer's new album "Love?". It is unclear when the video will arrive in full.

"The Vampire Diaries" will shift its focus a bit from Stefan's birthday this week to Bonnie's power next week. Bonnie is having terrifying dreams about one of her ancestors. Despite Elena's efforts to smooth things over, Bonnie and Caroline continue to argue over the medallion. When the girls hold a sance to help them decide what to do, the results are stranger than any of them expected.

Meanwhile, Matt comes to Caroline's aid when she needs a friend. Damon finally reveals to Stefan the stunning reason he has returned to Mystic Falls. The episode called "History Repeating" airs on Thursday, November 12.

It's a wrap for the 10th Annual Latin Grammy Awards. Its winners have been announced and soon afterwards, footage of its live performances by Alicia Keys, Alejandro Sanz and Laura Pausini and this year's big winner Calle 13 hit the web.

Alicia made a collaboration with Alejandro who brought his guitar during the set. The two musicians delivered a duet track called "Looking for Paradise" which is taken from his latest studio effort "Paraiso Express".

Four of "Kick-Ass" major characters have become the center of attention in a set of newly-released character posters. Debuted by IGN, each of the one-sheets focuses individually on Kick-Ass, Hit-Girl, Big Daddy and Red Mist, the alter egos of Dave Lizewski, Mindy Macready, Damon Macready and Chris D'Amico respectively.

All four posters capture the characters portrayed by Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz, Nicolas Cage and Christopher Mintz-Plasse from their behind. If combined together in the right order, starting with Red Mist, Kick-Ass, Hit-Girl and Big Daddy, the one-sheets form the title of the movie.

Amidst on-going talks and media reports of Josh Duhamel cheating on her with a stripper, Stacy Ferguson tells Cosmopolitan that the actor loves her no matter what shape she's in. Fergie, who is required to add the pounds for her starring role in next year's film "Nine", reveals "When I came home from filming he was excited. He enjoys having both: the extra meat to grab when it's there and the tight stomach when that's there. He's never been critical."

In further interview with the print media, Fergie also shares about how she perceives herself and her persona as a performer. "You know, in Italy (where Nine takes place), Catholic boys are raised to believe that there are two types of women: the Madonna and the whore. And me? I'm both," gushes the singer-actress.

TLC won't miss one of the shocking news in the criminal world this year by compiling footages for a special called "Kidnapped for 18 Years: The Jaycee Lee Dugard Story". This Sunday, November 8 at 9 P.M. the cable will air a story about the California woman who was kidnapped when she was 11 years old and held captive for 18 years before being discovered.

From the look of the preview, the special contains some personal footages of the Dugard family including when the parents were on national search following the abduction. "This is a look beyond the headlines, this is their story," the network says on the promo. The one-hour program would be aired again on Monday, November 9 at 12 A.M.

Calle 13 have won in every category they were nominated at the 10th Annual Latin Grammy Awards. It means that the Hip-Hop / alternative-reggae duo, Residente and Visitante, walked home with five trophies at the November 5 ceremony.

"To all the people who make music in this moment of independent music, to hell with record labels!" Residente said when collecting Best Alternative Song prize for the band's track "No Hay Nadie Como Tu". "This is the moment for those of us who make real music."

An extended look at "The Killer Inside Me" has come out in the form of a promo trailer. Almost six minutes in running time, the sneak peek unravels what this drama thriller is all about and gives out a look at Casey Affleck, Jessica Alba and Kate Hudson in characters. Some footage in the trailer are quite NSFW.

In the movie set in the 1950s, Affleck stars as Lou Ford, a West Texas deputy sheriff who spirals downward. Starting as a bored small-town cop, he slowly turns into a ruthless, sociopathic murderer trying to cement his innocence when the evidence looks suspicious. Alba and Hudson, in the meantime, portray a prostitute and Lou's girlfriend respectively.

Lady GaGa is not into Hollywood glamor and party life. To MTV News she tells the reason why stating, "To be totally honest, I don't really have any celebrity friends, I don't know anybody, and I'm not enticed by that lifestyle."

"[I also want something that] isn't this Hollywood kind of future that we imagine all pop stars go to," she explains further. "I have to find my own space. I try to reject all of that. I try to stay internal and just focus on myself."

Apparently one of the reasons behind Alicia Keys' decision to push back her new album "The Element of Freedom" is to give more time for her to finish "Empire State of Mind Part 2". The singer has confirmed that she will return to studio with Jay-Z to record the song's sequel.

One of the singles in Jay-Z's latest effort "The Blueprint 3", the first version of "Empire State of Mind" peaked at No. 3 on Billboard Hot 100. The joint track has also brought luck to both Alicia and Jay-Z as they have been billed to duet for several major events, one of which is the upcoming American Music Awards.

Newly single Adam Lambert is romantically linked to Ferras, the singer-songwriter who has helped the "American Idol" star working on his debut album "For Your Entertainment". Not without reason, but their togetherness at some occasions has ignited talks that they are dating.

Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are attending a "Supernatural" convention, on their show. Super fan Becky (guest star Emily Perkins) uses Chuck's (guest star Chuck Benedict) phone to trick Sam and Dean into attending a Supernatural fan convention, complete with fans dressed up as Sam and Dean.

One of the activities is a live action role playing game, but things quickly turn sour after a real ghost appears on the scene. Based on the casting call, there would be two young men named Demian and Barnes who are friends and have heroic aspirations despite their exterior appearance.

"Resident Evil: Afterlife" has kicked off its principal photography in Toronto, Canada in late September, and set photos have begun surfacing. Shock Till You Drop has recently made public two pictures taken from the sci-fi thriller set, exposing first look at Milla Jovovich as Alice and Ali Larter as Claire Redfield for the new movie.

The pics also share captures of Spencer Locke who is returning to the "Resident Evil" series as K-Mart, and the new addition to the cast, Wentworth Miller. Wentworth takes on the role of Claire's brother, Chris Redfield. From what the photos shown, it seems that the particular scene is taken on a boat. There is no explanation on what or who are the people in the white outfit.

Jonas Brothers appeared together at this year's MTV Europe Music Awards on November 5 to remember the life and death of Michael Jackson. The three brothers revealed that the late King of Pop has become their inspiration. They also introduced a tribute piece performed by Michael's die-hard fans in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Germany.

Nick Jonas was the one who opened the band's tribute speech. He said, "This year we saw the loss of the greatest pop musician the world has ever seen. We and MTV wanted to pay tribute to the true king of pop, Michael Jackson. His unrivalled talent has shaped the musical landscape, influencing artists old and young."

Former lovers Rihanna and Chris Brown chose the same week to talk about the unfortunate incident that happened in February this year. While Rihanna, as reported earlier this week, decided to go one on one with Diane Sawyer on "Good Morning America" (GMA) and "20/20", Chris opted to be more honest than his "Larry King Live" interview in MTV special.

Rihanna's interview is divided into two segments, the first one being aired on Thursday, November 5 as part of "GMA". Rihanna admitted that she indeed went back to Chris shortly after the February incident when he hit, choke and bit her. "When I realized that my selfish decision for love could result into some young girl getting killed, I could not be easy with that part," she opened up.

A month shy of "Brothers" theatrical release in December, Lionsgate came forth with a brand new trailer. This fresh promo video, outed via Yahoo! Movies, is shorter than the one released previously, but it focuses more on the romantic relationship between Natalie Portman and Jake Gyllenhaal's characters and its consequences.

Sam and Tommy are brothers that are natural foils for each other. Sam is a family man who is about to embark on his fourth tour of duty, while Tommy is the black sheep of the family and a drifter just out of jail. But, when Sam's Black Hawk helicopter is shot down in the mountains of Afghanistan and he is presumed dead, Tommy is thrown into the unexpected as he is now responsible of Sam's wife, Grace, and two young daughters.

National Enquirer breaks out new story that Kevin Federline's girlfriend Victoria Prince is several weeks pregnant with his baby. The site reports the volleyball star began suspecting that she is carrying a bun in the oven after spending time with the aspiring rapper in Las Vegas for two weeks in late September.

"The test was positive. She told Kevin that she was pregnant, but he didn't seem happy to hear the news," an unnamed source says. Several other sources, meanwhile, claim Kevin doesn't want to have another child because he has already had four children from previous relationships.

The stage of O2 World Arena in Berlin, Germany was glittered with live performances from big stars on November 5 when the 16th Annual MTV Europe Music Awards was held. The likes of Shakira, Tokio Hotel, Jay-Z, Beyonce Knowles and Leona Lewis rocked the event with their hit singles.

At the event opened by cabaret show from host Katy Perry, Shakira delivered her latest single "Did It Again" and brought in several backing dancers as her companions. Having her hair braided, she wore a black mini skirt with a matched top and knee-length boots.

Question on who will direct "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn" should it is materialized is still left unanswered, but actor Jamie Campbell Bower has an idea whom he wants to see behind the lens for the project. In an interview with MTV news, the Caius depicter in "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" rallies behind director Tim Burton for the part.

"It'd be cool if Burton came and did 'Breaking Dawn'," the 20-year-old voiced his mind. He further said of what the "Sweeney Todd" director may bring, "I think he'd just change it up. I think he'd screw around with it quite a lot, and aesthetically, I think it'd be incredibly different. I don't know if the fans would like it, but I'd sure like it."

Getting back together after they briefly separated in July, Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush apparently are taking their romance to the next level as they've been spotted house hunting in the Hollywood Hills. The fact, thus, fuels rumors that the high-profile couple will be moving in together, TMZ reports.

"Before Reggie put his house on the market, he took a quick break from dominating in the NFL with the New Orleans Saints to fly to L.A. and go house shopping with his girl," the site cites a source close to Kim and Reggie as informing. And while confirmation on the matter is yet to be made by both stars, another source tells People, "After they got back together they were both looking for new places and decided to take the next step in their relationship."

The thought that Oprah Winfrey will move her talk show to her cable channel The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) is too preliminary. CBS Corp. which has the distribution right to "The Oprah Winfrey Show" for local televisions, said on Thursday, November 5 that talks are still underway to keep her from leaving.

"The decision is Oprah's to make," CBS said. "As we have stated repeatedly, we love Oprah and if she wants to continue her show then we want to continue to be in business with her." On the other side, Oprah's production company Harpo released their own statement, saying nothing has been determined yet but Oprah will make one before the year ends.

Hosted by Katy Perry, 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards has just been wrapped. In the main categories, Beyonce Knowles dominated the winners list with three gongs, two of which were for Best Song and Best Female.

In Best Song, Beyonce's "Halo" beat such hit singles as Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling", David Guetta's "When Love Takes Over", Kings of Leon's "Use Somebody" and Lady GaGa's "Poker Face". For Best Female meanwhile, she dethroned Katy, Leona Lewis, Shakira and pushed aside Lady GaGa once again.

Another brand new trailer for "It's Complicated" has arrived. The nearly three-minute sneak peek is debuted via Apple and focuses more on the affair Jane has with her ex-husband Jake. Fresh footage are unraveled in the second half of the trailer.

Jane is a divorced mother of three grown kids and owner of thriving Santa Barbara bakery/restaurant. After a decade of divorce, she and her ex-husband, Jake, build an amicable relationship. But, when the two find themselves out of town for their son's college graduation, things start to get complicated as they fall into an affair.

This year's annual MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) has been kicked off on Thursday, November 5, and the likes of Katy Perry, Pete Wentz and Beyonce Knowles were among some of the celebs spotted hitting the event's red carpet. Billed to be the awards' host, Katy showed up to the star-studded affair wearing a nude-colored one shoulder Marchesa gown with embroidered ebony flowers. The 25-year-old British singer was showered with confetti on the red carpet.

As for Pete, the Fall Out Boy bassist wore all-black outfit to the ceremony. He finished off his look with a matching cap. Besides, he was also spotted sporting a heavy black make-up on his left eye, which supposedly was inspired by film "A Clockwork Orange". Beyonce, who was one of the tapped performers at the event, hit the red carpet in Atelier Versace.
