Nicholas Sparks is an amazing author and the movies are always brilliant. I can't wait for the movie!

I just got through reading the book and I'm speechless. I'm counting down the days until "Nights of Rodanthe" comes out. I believe this movie is going to be a huge hit and I don't think the couldn't have picked two better actors to play the leading roles.

Terrible movie and acting. Embarassing that Richard Gere and Diane Lane would even consider accepting to play the roles.

I would not normally see a movie that had Richard Gere in it but I had read the book and like Nicholas Sparks previous movies so I went against my judgement and am glad that I did. Very good movie and I would go see it again

Oh and Jen, the song that was rolling in the credits is called "Love remains the same" by 'Gavin Rossdale'

I have not cried so much in a movie before this one. But it was excellent and I would probably watch it a hundred times more. The actors have such wonderful chemistry in the movie and there could not have been better actors for the part!

Read the book twice & thought the movie was almost as good. Was afraid I was going to start crying out loud in the movie. Can't wait til it comes out on DVD.

Richard Gere and Diane Lane are a natural couple for this movie, excellent casting; after the movie, I bought the book and couldn't put it down. The movie is very close to the story of the book. If you like the book, you will like the movie (and vice versa). Last but not least, the song "Love Remains the Same" by Gavin Rossdale is so fit for the story.

The movie is awesome, but I have to say the book is always better. I traveled to Rodanthe this weekend and saw the house. It is old and a bit run down, but absolutely beautiful in its own way. I took a million pics and posted them on my myspace. LAUREN EDMONDS NC

I absolutely love this movie and cried so much when I saw it. Personally, I thought the movie was a lot better than the book. The suspense in the movie was so much stronger than in the book and the way the book ended wasn't as gripping as the movie.

I'm just about to finish my novel, my own life story, wery much similar to The "Nights in Rodanthe". Only in my story he is alive, so there is a future for us, or something dramatic will happend...? LISA W. MT

Lisa, why if hi is alive, you think something dramatic will heppend? You almost finish your story,so why you just don't be happy?

Excellent movie. Who doesn't like Richard Gere and Diane Lane. They are dynamic together. The music was gret. I'm putting some of those songs on my IPOD.
