Despite apologizing for his 'inexcusable' abuse against his then-girlfriend, Diddy finds himself submerged in criticism but he looks unbothered by the heavy scrutiny.

AceShowbiz - Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, the renowned rap mogul, isn't shy about being seen in public even as he wades through a sea of controversies. Diddy made a recent appearance in his Miami neighborhood, sporting an all-white attire and a medallion featuring a childhood photo.

When approached by photographers, the rapper simply said, "Love," and gestured the letter "L" with his hand. Seemingly unbothered by the whirlwind around him, the embattled star who was dressed in all white leisurely smoked his cigar.

This comes in the wake of the release of a 2016 hotel security video showing Diddy assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie. The footage has ignited a fierce backlash, prompting an apology video from Diddy - his first public statement since the video hit the internet.

Diddy's apology, however, has been met with harsh criticism. Meredith Firetog, Cassie's lawyer, labeled Diddy's statement as "pathetic desperation" and "disingenuous." She remarked, "Combs' most recent statement is more about himself than the many people he has hurt. That he was only compelled to 'apologize' once his repeated denials were proven false shows his pathetic desperation, and no one will be swayed by his disingenuous words."

Industry peers also voiced their disapproval. 50 Cent criticized the move, stating, "This is not going to work, who is advising him right now? SMH bad move."

Aubrey O'Day weighed in, pointing out inconsistencies in Diddy's apology. "Diddy did not apologize to Cassie," she wrote. "He apologized to the world for seeing what he did. He says he's 'disgusted w himself now, and he was disgusted w himself then,' but apparently he wasn't disgusted enough w himself to not PIN this statement out calling her a liar & denying all of it.. leave god and mercy out of this, they aren't present here, and you know it."

Compounding Diddy's troubles, he's facing multiple civil lawsuits and an ongoing federal investigation, all of which he staunchly denies. His lawyer denounced the March raids on Diddy's Miami and Los Angeles properties as a "witch hunt," highlighting that the artist was never detained.

Despite mounting pressure and public outcry, Diddy continues to make himself visible, perhaps as an assertion of innocence or resilience in face of adversity. Whether his public stance will sway the court of public opinion or further entrench skepticism remains to be seen.
