AceShowbiz - Audio of 911 calls from the shooting that took place during the filming of Lil Baby's music video has made its way out online, capturing chilling moments of the gunfire. One of the calls was apparently made in the middle of the crossfire, as dozens of rounds could be heard exploding through the air.
A man who made the frantic phone call told the dispatcher to send an ambulance, but could not provide detailed information of the location. Another phone call was seemingly made by one of the victims. He spoke with his thin voice that he was shot in the neck, but he "could breathe."
Another man detailed the victim's injury in the audio obtained and released by TMZ on Thursday, May 16. He said a guy suffered a gunshot wound that went through his neck. He also noted that the man was awake and breathing, but "it's like hard for him to breathe." At the time of the phone call, the assailant(s) had fled the scene.
Lil Baby was filming a music video in Atlanta on Tuesday, May 14 when the shooting erupted. According to early investigation by Atlanta PD officers, two unknown parties got into an altercation as members of QC Records were filming the video, but the rapper was never involved.
As tensions escalated, the two parties started shooting at each other and hurt some bystanders. The shooting rang out at 4:50 P.M. near a commercial strip on Verbena Street.
When APD officers arrived at the scene, paramedics were already administering aid to 2 of the 3 gunshot victims on the spot. A 24-year-old man was shot in the arm and a 27-year-old man was shot in the back.
The third victim was not found at the location when police arrived. Officers later discovered that the third individual, a 23-year-old man who was shot in the neck, self-transported himself to the hospital. All three victims were said to be "alert, conscious, and breathing" following the incident.
"The people who were shot were not part of the video production team but there may have been individuals involved in the totality of the production," noted Major Ralph Woolfolk. Authorities described it as a "isolated and targeted incident."
A spokesperson for the "Drip Too Hard" hitmaker assured that he's safe following the incident.
