The "Selling Sunset" star shared a series of Instagram Stories capturing their day, including photos and videos of their 15-month-old son Tristan exploring the sandy shores. She captioned one of the photos, "Spent yesterday at the beach," with a red heart emoji.
Later that day, Tristan and Heather were spotted wearing matching olive green sweat sets, posing in a mirror selfie. Heather captioned the adorable moment, "Twins."
The El Moussas also celebrated Tristan's first birthday with a special party at Disneyland on Wednesday, May 15. They shared clips of their day at the theme park, where they enjoyed rides like "it's a small world" and "Thunder Mountain."
Tarek El Moussa's older children, Taylor and Brayden, joined in the fun, celebrating their half-brother's milestone. After the Disney trip, the family continued the festivities at home, showing off Tristan's elaborately designed birthday cake.
Tarek and Heather shared heartfelt notes on Instagram alongside adorable snaps of their son. "Our sweet little bear is officially 1 year old today," Tarek wrote. "The best addition to our family of five and a light that brightens all of our days with his endless smiles, loudest belly giggles and perfect blue eyes."
The birthday celebrations came after Tarek broke his silence on the 2016 incident where he ran into the woods with a gun following an argument with ex-wife Christina Hall. He explained in his memoir that he only fled for exercise after an argument and to check out the trails near their property, armed with a firearm for safety.
Despite the past challenges, Tarek and Christina have maintained a positive co-parenting relationship and focus on the well-being of their children. Tarek expressed his gratitude for Heather Rae, calling her his "breakthrough moment" and saying he's "just so happy and excited about the family" he has today.
