A few days before releasing her third studio record, the 'Dance the Night' songstress reveals that she will be hitting the road before creating her next album.

AceShowbiz - Dua Lipa may have left her devotees excited with her recent statement about her hitting the road. A few days before releasing her new album titled "Radical Optimism", the "Dance the Night" songstress teased that she will go on tour to support the upcoming record.

The 28-year-old British singer/songwriter talked about the tour in a new interview published on Tuesday, April 30. During a chat with the Associated Press, she received several questions about her music, including one about potential collaborators for her fifth album.

In response, Dua said, "Well I don't know but I have little thoughts and ideas for the next one so we'll see. I mean I always, you know, sometimes it happens where I write a song in the studio and then I'm like, 'It doesn't really fit this world that I'm in right now but maybe something in the future.' "

" 'Maybe this will lead me into where I'm going to next,' " the "New Rules" hitmaker continued. " 'Maybe that's where my heart or my soul wants to go next.' So we'll see. I still have to yet go on a tour for this one before I start thinking about my next album but I'm always thinking ahead."

In the same interview, Dua shared what it was like working with Kevin Parker, who produced "Radical Optimism" that is set to be released on Friday, May 3. She gushed about creating the set with Kevin, who is also known as Tame Impala, "Not only did it match up my expectations, it went beyond that."

Dua recalled, "Kevin came down to London and he was going to stay for a week to write." She further explained, "I think for both of us we were in two completely different um comfort zones and we were coming together to create something really new."

"And what I learned from him is to never really throw a good idea away, that even if you don't get it on the first time, if you come back to it and you keep writing and writing, you know you'll develop it further," she added. "And that's something that I really did a lot with this album, that I'd never done with my previous ones is I never let a good idea go."
