"Justin has been facing some difficulties lately," a source tells Entertainment Tonight. "He has been having a hard time and hasn't been feeling like his usual self."
The insider notes that Justin's wife Hailey Bieber (Hailey Baldwin) plays a key role in his journey to get better. "Hailey has been doing her best to be there for Justin, but it is upsetting for her to see him struggle," the source says of the model. "They are doing their best to make things work and be supportive of each other. They are committed to doing whatever it takes to make things better."
Recently, body language expert Judi James explained to The Mirror what Justin's sad selfie could mean. Judi believed that the pictures showed "an intimate moment" that has potentially "been bottled up for years." The expert added, "This one tear looks tragic."
"It's unclear what might have prompted it, but it suggests a man whose distress is solitary but also something that he wants to share with the world," Judi continued. "It's a very sad image that creates a desire to nurture and support. Justin has posted an intimate moment here that he nevertheless wants to share with his fans. The one tear signals genuine distress that has perhaps been bottled up for years. It is leaking out rather than flowing and that makes it all the sadder here."
Meanwhile, Hailey responded to Justin's concerning photos with a gushing comment. In addition to liking the "Peaches" singer's post, the model wrote, "A pretty crier."
In recent months, it has been rumored that there's trouble in the couple's marriage. Hailey's dad Stephen Baldwin further fueled the speculations by reposting an Instagram post asking for prayers for the couple.
The 27-year-old catwalk beauty, however, shut down the rumors. "Just FYI the stories and constant 'blind items' I see on TikTok are 100 percent of the time wrong Made out of thin air…," she said at the time. "Come from the land of delusion…So I know it may be fun feeding into these stories but just know they're always false xx sorry to spoil it. (sic)"
Deuxmoi, meanwhile, claimed Justin was having personal issues that have nothing to do with their marriage. "Justin Bieber is going through it. That is what it's about. I have maintained from the beginning it is not about Justin and Hailey," the gossip blogger said back in March.
Deuxmoi claimed that it's why "the pastor and the father said pray for them both. It is very very common, especially in religious type of institutions, that a pastor, a minister, will call for the congregation to give prayers for the family, for the couple, even if there's one person going through something."
The blogger stressed, "This has nothing to do with their marriage. The root of this is Justin's own personal issues. I have not heard of any cheating rumors. I think that these artists and musicians, actors and actresses, that get started really young, I think some of them can escape the trauma. Like, luckily. And then I think that really f**ked up s**t happens to a lot of them."
